As a veterinarian who is acutely aware of the importance of and need for positive, humane, and compassionate (for dog and human!) training practices, all bets were off for me when I got my first puppy. ?
I have such relief that I can leave my job at work and come to classes as just a human with a puppy, anxious that I’d mess something up! The beauty of When Hounds Fly is that there is *space* for humanity and mistakes and messing up. AND, as with all great relationships, when they’re built on trust and compassion, these are usually manageable too.
I now have an absolutely lovely nearly two-year old dog, and I’m endlessly proud of the relationship we’ve built together with the invaluable support of When Hounds Fly.
